Alert Bay Elementary School is located on Cormorant Island, near the top of Vancouver Island. We are part of District #85, Vancouver Island North. We are a K-7 school with about 64 students. Many of the students at our school love playing soccer and going camping.

Hello Alert Bay! Your blog is great! I’ve never even heard of Alert Bay before today. I found your blog by following a link in a tweet, which led to a blog, which led to YOU! My Gr. 7 students are also starting our first blog – perhaps some of you may comment back and forth with them when we get it up and make it public. Tomorrow they are starting to tweet one thing a day to make the world a better place – in a class twitter account called @OneSingleAct. They are soccer-loving country kids who live south of Algonquin Park and north of Peterborough in Ontario. Good luck with your great blog!
